7210 elected, selected community members and UP Secretaries of 1030 Union Parishads and about 65000 women beneficiaries are trained on relevant subjects.

SWAPNO will enhance capacity of Union Parishads, the lowest tier of Local Government Institution (LGI) through class room, on the job training, coaching and mentoring. Members of the Standing Committee on ‘Family Dispute Resolution, Women and Children’, respective UP Chair and Secretaries will be trained on management and implementation of safety net projects.

The project will also provide life skills training to women beneficiaries on Leadership development, Rights and entitlements, Primary healthcare & nutrition, Gender development, Basic numeracy and Disaster awareness. Apart from class room trainings, they will be given intensive mentoring, counselling and on the job training support.
