With new measures and guidelines in place, SWAPNO and UNDP starts food distribution in Jamalpur

Food distribution of all 15 unions of Bakshigonj and Dewangonj in Jamalpur has successfully completed on 20th April 2020. At Bakshigonj, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) and Upazila Chairman both were present and distribute the materials to the beneficiaries. The food packages were distributed to 540 beneficiaries of these 2 Upazilas of Jamalpur. All union workers of each union also got the food package.

The food basket includes:
1. Rice 12 kg, 2. Flour 6 kg, 3. Potato 2 kg, 4. Dal ( Mushur) 2 kg, 5. Sugur 01 kg, 6. Salt 01kg, 7. Soya bean Oil 01kg, 8.Cheera 01kg and 9. Soap 02nos

Distributions were organized at union level’s micro points with maintaining Social/physical distancing.

Beneficiaries were badly in need those relief, hopefully that could rescue their emergency food security.
