A high level delegation team from the Swedish Embassy visited the SWAPNO project's activities in Lalmonirhat and Kurigram from 20^th May- 22^nd May 2023. During the visit, the project tested out the newly developed digital app for beneficiary selection. They also visited the place for establishing the second Water treatment plant named 'Teesta Water Treatment Plant'. Ms. Maria Stridsman - Counselor/Deputy Head of Mission, Fredrika Noren - Diplomat, Mr. Ikramul H. Sohel - National Programme Officer of Swedish Embassy and Mr. Prasenjit Chakma - Assistant Resident Representative, UNDP, Mr. Kajal Chatterjee - National Project Manager - SWAPNO project and others were present during the visit. During the visit, the team observed the enterprises like Kallyani sanitary napkin, milk chilling plant, disposable plate making, chicken hatcheries and income generating activities like tea stall of the project beneficiaries.
