Our dear former colleague and torchbearer of SWAPNO project, Majeda Haq passed away on 6 June 2019 due to a long-term illness. Her dedication, creativity, wise guidance and intellect has seen SWAPNO project through inception to its scaling up. She was also a key figure in the development of National Social Security Action Plan for Bangladesh and a passionate advocate for gender equality and women empowerment . We will immensely miss her light-hearted, good-humored inspirational leadership and camaraderie.
