Recently, Marico Bangladesh ltd, has won the ‘Best CSR Award 2022’ for innovative efforts to promote Financial Inclusion through SWAPNO project. On 19th July 2018, Marico entered partnership with UNDP Bangladesh as private sector donor and knowledge partner in the SWAPNO project.

The objective of the partnership is to ensure project outcomes and champion private sector collaboration in materializing SDG Goal 17 “Partnerships for the Goals”. This public-private collaboration in SWAPNO has not only supported ultra-poor women graduate out of poverty but also channeled Marico’s CSR initiatives towards national programmatic approaches for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The partnership has also supported SWAPNO in developing market value chain for the beneficiaries and formal sector employment.
